The girl behind the lens

I’m Claire — a professional photographer, writer, and designer passionate about capturing the raw beauty of the natural world and the human stories found within it.

My Story

My love for photography began in childhood, when my Grandma gave me my first camera. That early gift planted a creative seed that took root years later while I was studying Graphic Design at 18 — the moment I truly discovered the power of visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve built a career spanning over 15 years, working across portraiture, marketing, landscapes, and wildlife.

In 2023, I made a pivotal change: I gave up traditional living and embraced life on the road, committing fully to the outdoors, climbing, and the freedom to create. Now living in my van, I travel with the seasons—chasing light, rock, and inspiring stories.

As a climbing photographer with specialised rope training, I capture the emotion and energy of climbers in their element. Whether I’m hanging on a rope to catch the shot, trekking at dawn for the perfect light, or shaping a narrative for print, I immerse myself in every project with excitement and passion.

Alongside photography, I write and shoot editorial features for magazines, focusing on climbing, travel, and nature. I also collaborate with outdoor brands to create authentic content—photographing and reviewing products in the field, crafting compelling narratives, and building visual assets that resonate with real-world adventure.

Beyond the lens, I support businesses through digital coordination services, including website management, newsletter creation, and social media strategy. With a background in design and content creation, I help brands stay consistent, connected, and aligned with their story across all platforms.

I also create framed photographic prints for hotels and corporate spaces, helping to bring a sense of calm and connection to the natural world indoors.

For me, photography is more than a profession — it’s a way of life, built on curiosity, creativity, and a love for the wild.
